Expect an hour and a half wait. That would be fine if the drinks were good. But everyone in my party complained that they could not taste any alcohol. I watched the Bartender pour a quarter shot at best in my "signature" old fashion. Food was average to good. The appetizers tasted like they came straight out of the freezer into the fryer.

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time last Saturday. It was packed but we got a table at the door right away (assuming others didn’t want to be in a colder spot) The ribs were excellent, the shrimp was great, and the strawberry layer cake for dessert was amazing. Our server, Nora, was wonderful. We liked the old school supper club vibe and we will be back in the Summer to enjoy the view of the lake!

Great staff, location and signature monster burger. Order it rare if you want medium rare though!

First time visit from Palatine Illinois, was NOT disappointed. Good ribs were recommended by my cousin Carl Reina he was right. Will return in the summer to check out deck.

This place is great for a date night. The food was amazing.

Take out service due to covid-19 was laughable. They said 20 minutes then 39 minutes then an hour. After that the breading on the fish was fried chicken breading not a good experience will not go again

This is just a great place to relax and enjoy a beer in the middle of winter. We drove, but if we had a airplane, we would have to fly in and enjoy a great meal with a great staff.

This is a great stop for a bite to eat in the middle of winter. Great views from the dining area. By the way, the food is great. The fish fry is the best we have had in a long time. The staff is great and makes you feel at home. Try it you'll like it!

The place was super busy for their dinner rush so expect a 45-90 minute wait. The ribs were amazing. However, the ribeye could have used some, ANY seasoning. It was done to my liking but were it not for the sauce that came with it, I may not have eaten much of it. Atmosphere was relaxed and we really enjoyed Rex, the entertainment at the piano. Would def go back for the ribs.

Great outside venue. Relax in a chair on the sand, view of the water and boats while you listen to music. Have not been to Mars Resort in the cold weather. I can only speak of the outside venue. Very calming!

Had Barb as our waitress. Not only was the service superb, but so was the food. Double your pleasure if you happen to go there....ask for Barb and then enjoy the delicious food.

At the first moment you enter that place the personel give you an excellent feeling. Very warm stuff, it is a friendly restaurant to to go out with your friends or with your date. yummy cuisine, specialist chief cook and stuff, good cost and nice service. Highly recommended.

Service was excellent, my lunch was made to order, above my expectation. Portion was large. Facilities were nice and clean. Can hardly wait for the schnitzel.

Place is fantastic. Always able to find a place to sit, servers are on point and the atmosphere is great. Wonderful spot to enjoy some time by the water.

Sat outside on the upper deck, enjoyed the view. Great Reuben sandwich. They were busy for 2:00 on a Thursday but service was great. This was my 2nd time there and I will definitely go back

We Happened upon this place while on a drive. And, what a find! Great food, people and fun on the beach front. Live music was playing and drinks were flowing. A must stop on a summer day .

Mars Resort on Lake Como in Wisconsin is a tradition for locals and vacationers alike. To experience a beautiful summer sunset, there is nowhere like it. The food is very good but not memorable, I had a Wisconsin brat and my wife had a skewer of shrimp, but the ambiance, view, and fun make it work. It feels like you're at a beach party at a friends house. We sat out on the lake and enjoyed the sunset and music. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I cannot give this visit a good review.Eating outside evidentially is a different menu.We came to this restaurant because of the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, they do not allow that to be ordered unless inside the restaurant.I ordered a well done cheeseburger, wanted frys but that’s not on the outside menu.My burger came out pink, then the waitress said it is well done..the manager came out to tell me he would only charge 1/2 because they don’t do well done at this grill!!!Never returning and unfortunately it probably won’t matter to them!!Unbelievable!

Amazing place. This owner was open immediately following gov being over ruled. Great food, great service.....but owner should slowdown from running 100 yard dash all the time

My wife, son and I had a great time at Mars Resort last night, in the area vacationing from Minneapolis. We sat at a table outside in the beach area. Gorgeous night and the setting of the restaurant was perfect for taking in the sunset over the lake. We had the ribs - so, so VERY good! My wife says best ever! I’m a big fan of coleslaw - theirs was excellent, a little creamy, tangy - nailed it. Service was top notch even on a busy night. I saw a guy kind of fussing about and thought , oh no, hope he doesn’t make a scene....not to worry: it was co-owner Scott! He was just making sure everything thing was running smoothly, greeting people, came by and took a minute to ask about us, where we were from..... impressive, nice to see that. Alexa was our waitress and she was perfect, there whenever we needed anything. Mars is a classic Wisconsin supper club, and with Scott, Alexa , those ribs(!!!), the coleslaw, the Lake.....they take the supper club art form (it is one!) to top of class.

This place has been around since the 1920’s, so they must have been doing something right. The current owner has changed very little. I love the old supper club atmosphere. The Signature Brandy Old Fashion is a MUST. The menu is first rate. Steaks are always perfectly prepared. The wings are baked first then deep fried, which is the proper way of course! But the BBQ ribs are the best! I kid you not. Fall off the bone, and a wonderful smokey flavor! Seriously, you’d think you died and went to Kansas City🤣 It’s a local gem and most people have at least heard of it, so getting a table on the weekend (especially in summer) requires a wait, but it’s worth it!

The food from the outside menu was pretty bad. The steak tacos were more like shredded beef. They come with tiny portions of toppings that is barely enough for all 3 tacos. Basically could get better tasting tacos from Taco Bell. Don’t waste your money on the outside smaller menu.

Well-established, old school Supper Club. Beautiful lake views with great sunsets with its own little beach out back! During certain months you can arrange a sunset cruise in their huge pontoon located right on the dock of their property! Just an all-around great setup. Let's not forget great food and service, with awesome specials. Advise going early to grab pre- dinner drinks at their unique, beautiful cozy bar-and hit it again after dinner for a nightcap! The people and the place are both fantastic. This is what Wisconsin is all about!

Amazing! It’s sort of a ma and pa style restaurant. You walk to a bar and a piano, the dining room is quaint and I’m sure in the summer there is much more seating. We waited for about 30 minutes on a Friday evening which was phenomenal with a pianist and the atmosphere of the people there. Our food was prompt and delicious! The manager came around and offered a round of drinks. All the staff were very welcoming. The most exciting part about our visit was for their fundraiser for the local school for people with disabilities. All around amazing atmosphere, fantastic food, good service and well poured drinks! You don’t want to miss out!

Long wait but excellent food choices and the best fish options around.

Tony and Jill are great bartenders. My wife and I had a great fish fry. The ribs are bomb...we'll be back tomorrow.

This place may have around for a while however that doesn't change our experience there. There was a couple next to us that the waitress moved since the guest could not sit in the sun because she is a cancer survivor and cant be in the sun. The hostess came out and said they had to move back to their seats in the sun. They ordered rice s which were boiled not grilled. My husband ordered a brat. It was not grilled and cold. I ordered a party melt which was good. I was lucky to have picked something good. The draft Miller lite was flat and warm. The service was terrible. We won't be back. Thought we found a gem - too bad.

Great food and service with beautiful views of Lake Como. Ribs, chicken, brats and cheese curds were excellent. Arrive early for a peaceful meal before the crowds as it is a popular restaurant!

Calamari was not real, maybe it was cuttle fish....no flavor, no legs and over priced. Cocktail was good.

The spinach salad is insane!!! Get the small one first because it's different than you think!!! Next visit you get the big one lol Amazing views even the lake is frozen... I am saying that about the salad cause I have been all the way from Hawaii to Greece and almost everything in between... Service is simple and quick even though it was busy...

Old-school Wisconsin Supper Club with really good food right on Lake Como. Laid back with great views and awesome staff. Big bar inside with panoramic views of the lake. Will definitely be returning there again and again.

Bartender was the worst I have seen in a very long time!! Frustrated us! But our server was nice! No employees were wearing a mask!

The food here is great, the view amazing! Whether you eat outside or prefer the air conditioning inside, this place is heaven. There are great views from the tables inside, step outside in the rear to enjoy a drink or perhaps listen to some music.

Food was super delicious but our adult portions were really small. We ate in the igloos with our three kids for a fun winter experience and the adult portions was a snack. Thankfully the kids portions were sized appropriately. We ordered the chicken and steak kabobs off the igloos selected menu and left hungry. We ordered a baked potato and chili on the side but ONE kabob of steak and chicken is not a meal. From one parent to the next, cool igloo experience but if you’re a hungry mama/papa bear order more!

Great view of lk. Como, great food, great prices, free parking can be tight, be prepared to wait at the indoor or outdoor bar, on weekends, pretty much year round.

We have been going to Mars for about 10 years. This weekend was so fun. New deck and outside bar is absolutely the best. Mars is going to be this summer's new hang out more than usual. Thank you Mars for a great time. Band was excellent.
